Well to start off, I've recently become interested in Norse Mythology sadly my school doesn't offer any classes that study it, I'm hoping the college I go to does. I instead occasionally look up Norse Mythology on my own time. I was reading about the bridge: Bitfrost and learned it connects Midgard and Asgard, The world of men and the world of gods. This bridge was said to be a rainbow bridge.
In the fairly odd parent there's a bridge not unlike this one that connects fairy world to earth. This bridge is also a rainbow.
Both the Norse gods and the TV show's fairies are immortal, Asgard and Midgard can also be translated as the world of immortals and the world of mortals.
