Teachers Strike

So, today is a non-compulsory school day for me (aka staying at home) because all the Union teachers are on strike.

I don't live anywhere near South Bank though so of course my teachers won't be there.

So yeah, day off school.

Well pretty much with the pay they get, hahah.

It will probably only be today unless they still don't get a pay rise - If they don't then it will continue on following Tuesdays from what I've heard.

What they fail to realise is that the reason they get paid so little is because of how many people can do that job. If your teacher just decided to quit one day, just walk out of the classroom, garunteed by the end of the day they will at least have a temporary replacement, and within a month probably a new permanant teacher. Supply and demand, the more there is of it, the lower its price.

unions are so stupid. they can go suck richard with their values, while the businesses continue to run.
