This kid is being called a homo because:
1: He's expressing anti-gay, religious views on the internet; which, of course is not taken lightly, especially if the views are expressed by a child around the age of perhaps, 10.
2: He asking not be called a homo. When someone asks not to be called something, people just do it more (yes, our society unfortunately does that), because they know it's bothering him, and that's basically what they want there.
This kid is being brainwashed by people who think two gay people simply can not, get married, as it is against their faith; when in turn it has no effect on them what so ever. Yet, they think the world is gonna end if they do. So, I actually feel sorry for this kid. But the fact once again, that he posted these views on the internet is basically saying to everyone, "please flame me and call me names, I crave it." But people still shoudn't be making fun of him, as it still is very wrong to do that to another human being.
