Bump.  i just tried it today. i went into bios and it said enter password.  i have a pass on my comp and i typed it in. it said wrong pass. i tried my old one and the same

The BIOS password is not the same as your user account password.
Most likely your system manufacturer or someone else set the password.

I think your brother is handicapped.  CPUs are about $110.

Get a lock for your case panel.

Take a drill, and drill two holes right close to each other on the panel and the case itself. Stick lock through and lock.

Some motherboards have a small jumper which (when removed) will allow you to enter the BIOS without the password when you next turn on the PC.

Get a lock for your case panel.

Its not that way thet he gets pens through. i have a fan on the side with a gold plated unreal "U" shaped logo he puts em through there

My "Bio-Star" motherboard dont have a jumper, just a bios chip.
