I dont know if this is in the wrong section but ill do it here anyway.

when i start my computer, it goes to the start windows normally/safe mode screen, ive tried EVERY option there and when it gets past the blue loading bar, the computer resets, WTF is happening???

HELP!

ive had this problem a few times now, every time i just formatted and reinstalled windows but now if i reinstall id have to phone again, so no broken capacitors

Try the Windows repair utility.

Turn on the computer and when the first screen comes up, hit whatever key it asks for to enter the BIOS.

In the BIOS find the BOOT order option (it may have a slightly different name). You should see a list of items such as (Hard Disk, CD, USB, etc).

Rearrange the list so that CD is the first device the motherboard will look for an OS in.

Save and Exit the BIOS. Restart the computer and insert the Windows Install Disk.

On the screen a Windows setup/homepage should appear. Find the link that says "repair". Follow the instructions in there to perform a repair of the Windows operating system.

i turned off my comp to go out. 2hours later icome in and turn it on to play some Bioshock and it just wont start. my older bro is always pissin around doin stuff like sticking pens in the CPU fan to piss me off. i could smell a faint plasticy burning smell in my room when i came in, imma open my comp to find out.

I think your brother is handicapped. CPUs are about $110.
