But TorqueScript can be pre-compiled - Whats this mean? I think what you're getting at here is that scripting is inferior to programming and therefore if I only do scripting that makes me inferior? I also used C++ for some parts of RTB in that case :)

True, TorqueScript can be compiled, but on the other hand it says 'Script', so that's not really on my radar. And yes, I am saying scripting is inferior to programming and no, only being able to do scripting is not making you inferior. Your ego from being able to script is what makes you inferior.

any idiot can host files on a website
any idiot can have a forum where people can submit their own mods for the community

few to no one of this community "could" as you say, make a blockland mod that hosts, takes submissions, and offers the first proper rating/comments system for reviewing the tons of garbage people make.
This is contrary to all the other scripters in this community that cant even make a simple gui, what ephi gave us is nothing but convenience and function.

Nobody's made it because Ephi already made it. It's just some PHP, MySQL and TorqueScript.
