Why are there so many Necromancers?
Current economic conditions have forced a paradigm shift. Most of the other dark arts had their money tied up in mortgage backed securities, as such there are now a lot of warlocks looking for work, necromancy remains the only avenue that allows them to stay employed as there is never a shortage of dead to work with. The pay sucks but the work is steady.
