Not much good roleplaying

Hi I've been in blockland for a few months ( 12000 ID) and am a first time poster and have noticed that not many people like to make roleplays. is there a reason for this? I like rp's a lot when they're good and I wish there were more so could anyone tell me why there are so little roleplays?

Yeah. I do agree that there are no good roleplays. Either crappy CityRPs, or the people there aren't really roleplaying, just DMing and yelling for their 'family'.

I don't consider cityRPs to be RPs at all. rp stands for ROLEPLAYING so cityRPs are definitly not RPs

I miss v0002 for this. The community was much tighter-knit, so when someone did something like a roleplay it actually worked.

I loved my "Captain Troy's Space Colony" rp, where like some forty people in the end had contributed to this giant colony on an alien planet, as well as ruins of an alien civilization. The colony itself had all features needed in a real one, a water generator room, electricty generators, air recylcers, mining facilities, and all sorts of other stuff. It was just epic...

ugh now I wish I was there back then sadly I'm a 12k so I didn't expierience things like that.

from the sounds of it it sounds more like a game not rp. I see that it's based in medevil times and such but when playing those no one roleplays they just play it and talk about other stuff

So?Its an online game...go on runescape, I bet you dont hear people saying

"Hear ye, Hear ye, I am selling thy armor for five thousand silvers!"

pitch, if the server wasn't running some sort of RPG mod, it could be a RP server.

A roleplay is basically acting out stuff without the use of any mods or systems.

It's just the unoriginal people who makes sucky stuff like family roleplays.
