So i was on my pc when it froze. I hit the restart button and it starts without an image. I do not think it is my gpu because it is fairly new. Could it be the mointer or cpu?

What do you mean "Without an image"?  Do you mean the OS won't boot?  I'm confused between a graphic or boot image.

1.unplug all your usb devices besides your mouse and keyboard.
2.reset your bios by unplugging the power cord for 3-5 seconds and plugging it back in.
4.unplug your monitor then plug it back in.
5.I hope there is profit???

Taking out the battery*  Just unplugging and that resetting it would suck.

But where was 3?

The battery for the bios doesn't last long just leave the power cord out for 3-5 seconds.

There is nothing on the screen. It says "no image."

Have you tried steps one two four and five?

1.unplug all your usb devices besides your mouse and keyboard. Won't accomplish anything.
2.reset your bios by unplugging the power cord for 3-5 seconds and plugging it back in. BIOS settings are reset by either jumping it through some way I forget at the moment or removing the battery for 5 seconds.
4.unplug your monitor then plug it back in. Again won't accomplish anything.
5.I hope there is profit??? $$$

Is it coming from your monitor or computer?

Also try waiting a while and let it try to get to your Operating System. If you hear any start up sound of some sort or you see your Operating System's screens, it's probably your new graphics card.

Last time i checked images are shown on a moniter.

Does your computer eventually boot up to Windows/other operating system or show it at all?

If he has an external hard drive his computer could be trying to load the OS off of it.You are both wrong about bios resetting you just need to unplug the power cable, I've done it several times (it usually fixes my comp when it wont start up right. He could try to unplug his monitor and plug it back in, it's possible that one of the copper connector things is not in the correct hole.  Those are actual fixes. It really just depends what's wrong with his computer.

Unplugging it resets some things.

I think what he means is "Is it your monitor saying there is no input or is it your computer outputting "No image"?"
