Author Topic: Installing games to Xbox 360 hard drive...  (Read 1809 times)

What's the point if you still have to play with the disc in?

Doesn't sound like there is one.

I never knew you could do that anyway.

Faster loading, and disc doesn't have to spin as often.

Makes sense. Thanks.

heh I thought you could just install it and play without the disc... I guess that prevents people like renting the game then burning it to their hard drive.

So would it be a good idea to do this for games that run slowly? Or is it a good idea to just do it with every game?

Apperently it's benificial for all games except for Halo 3.

That's what I thought and I was all like "NO WAI!" and then I tried it and was like "lame..."

Yeah one of my friends bought the 120GB HDD and called me up and said to come over and bring my hard drive because he rented a bunch of games that they where going to steal... I just thought "Nah"

Lol, what a moron.

It improves load times (in some games) and only needs the disk to verify, so your disk could be scratched and you could still play.

I heard it pretty much removes loading times from Fallout 3.

It dont improve load time very much on any of my game and its a waste of hard drive space
