Author Topic: Xbox Live Parties - There goes the team chat.  (Read 1098 times)

Well, Xbox Live got this new party system like months ago.
You can invite your friends and have private discussions and such, and invite the entire party to one game.

But I didn't realize something till now.

Ever since these parties came out, it seems people don't talk to their team anymore. They just stick to their 3-4 person party andeaving it on party chat. Games become less interesting if you're just running around playing the game, adapting to other's actions. I like to strategize with a team. Telling each other plans and how to beat the other team. But now it seems like I'm just talking to the wall. Everyone is in their own private groups of people possibly playing other games.

Get some friends.
Proceed to make your own parties.

Enjoy. Strategize as you wish.

Yep, I do it whenever my friends are on.

Try to get your friends together and play the same game. That's what I try to do.

I have found that games seem rather devoid of life now, since the Live Parties thing, however sometimes, it can really be a blessing. a lot better than having to listen to a bunch of ten-year olds shouting in squeaky voices, about a game they aren't even old enough to play.

I agree.

That's annoying.

it really depends on the game.

Or trying to sound like their 20.

Snibble Snap.

Cons: Everyone is in one party
Pros: They can invite you so no need to worry
