Author Topic: Voice Recording  (Read 2346 times)

Could anyone lend me a hand? I need a voice recording software for my a project. All it needs to do is record my voice, and perhaps minor editing.

Doesn't the PC come with one under accessories? You just talk into your PC Mic as it's recording.

You can also use
audacity

I'm pretty sure that, provided you didn't get a cheap ass one, all Windows copies come with a normal Sound Recorder in "Accessories" in the Start Menu.

Adobe Soundbooth seems pretty cool, if you feel like spending $200.

More epic! XD

That doesn't record voice, you idiot.
Also, Audacity.  I just even used it to record a gameboy.

I used audacity to record Plants vs Zombies music :3

ima edit it sooner or later to sound like a finished song.

audacity, you might wanna get a mp3 plugin for it though.

it can do mp3s natively methinks

Hmm, I love Audacity but can someone tell me how to remove the background noises? If you can do this, you get hugs.

No, you need to have LAME.dll or something similar.

Also, if you're recording voice, you shouldn't need mp3; wav is fine.

Still need help, but this thing rocks my socks.
