Why should I put that there? You should be smart enough to figure out it's sarcasm.

Example:

"I like cheese"

"And I want to like to pee"

"/sarcasm?"

IT IS DUH!

I don't get it.

What is the point of this topic :c?

He hates it when people point out their own sarcasm, because he wants people to have to figure out whats sarcasm by themselves.

Sarcasm is kind of hard to dectect on the internet, especially without bad grammar or CAPS to signify it.

This isn't sarcasm /sarcasm
This IS sarcasm /sarcasm

To be honest though, sometimes it really is difficult to sense sarcasm in a post. Especially if the writer doesn't use it exactly properly. It's easy enough to read sarcasm in speach, but in text, for some people, and in certain cases, text just doesn't show emotion. Which i guess is needed to show sarcasm.

You can't hear tone of voice by reading posts, so sometimes it's necessary.

This topic serves an important point.

/sarcasm

You all are awesome  /sarcasm

You all are awesome  /sarcasm
You fail. /nosarcasmatall

I hate "/sarcasm" as well. Usually you can tell (or I can, at least) if the person is attempting to be sarcastic if they say something that completely contradicts their main point (assuming the person is not handicapped).

You can use Italicized words to represent sarcasm such as this.

Yea, because spamming emotes is really cool.
