I made this.
It has custom sounds, I made this for Hydralisk because he asked for it. When you spawn it on a brick it's a model of a lightning bolt, but when you equip it it's an emitter. Also, this is the first weapon to have a light attached to it, so you don't want to use it in the dark! All emitters are new and can be used on bricks. If people like this I'll make more.

Can you make actual lightning as a particle? The zap particle is fine, but I think it'd be cooler if you could have like actual lightning sparks and everything. I'm not talking about small short range sparks, like you shoot and a huge loving branch of lightning shoots from your hand. Requires like a charge-up maybe.
