Exactly. How can there be a Hell if God loves us? Think about it. Now, I am not contradicting God himself, but the fact that if he loved us so much, he wouldn't punish us by burning us in Hell for all eternity.

He punishes you for being bad. Take a parent spanking their kid for example, if they loved them, why would they hit them?

i was raised a church boy and know that horsestuff front to back.
having known the bible so well is what pretty much pushed me away from a life of faith.

Also, from my knowledge God hates sin, if you're a sinner he sends you to hell. The reason we can sin is so we have free will. Basically, he doesn't hate you, he hates what you've done.

EDIT: Also, Christians not being allowed to swear is BS, from what I know the bible only says you aren't supposed to use God's name in vain and it mentions you aren't supposed to call people stupid.
