That'd be nice, but It'd take forever and a day to program in every single damage type.
Unless you based it off the damage radius...

In the old games (DooM Quake etc.) they had it programed that if the damage went over 100 or something like that then the body would gib

Damage radius would work better, because explosives have a high radius while bullets have none.
Unless someone makes a machine gun with a high damage radius, which is stupid, though.
