My computer is succesfully downgraded to an XP! WOOHOO! Vista is just all hell breaking loose. Even my dad thinks it is.

When we first got it succesfully downgraded, we had a couple problems. Wireless Internet would not work and the fan refused to work. We installed a whole bunch of drivers, and finally got everything working fine. I'm so happy! Here's all the things installed.

Adobe Flash 10 ActiveX
Atheros Driver Installation Program
Combat Arms
Conextant HD Audio
CyberLink Youcam
Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer
HDAUDIO Soft Data Fax Modem with SmartCP
NetWaiting
NVIDIA Drivers
NVIDIA PhysX
Pando Media Booster
Windows Driver Package - Advanced Micro Devices (Amd K8) Processor (05/27/2006 1.3.2.0)
Windows Installer 3.1 (KB893803)

Im thinking of upgrading to Windows 7. :/

you could say that its UPGRADING to widows XP. :D

Tell me about it...

XP is feeling more outdated each day to me. Going back to XP is pointless, unless you have a slower/older machine that should be on XP anyway.

I've never had any problems with Vista, which means you were probably doing things wrong.

Also, fierscream, you're an idiot.

I've had no problems with Vista. It's just idiots who are trying to run it can't figure anything out and they think it's crap because of it.

You're an idiot, Fierscream.

Why is everyone calling me an idiot? :o

Anyway, I don't mean nothing's working with Vista, I just don't like it. It has that stupid allow screen, the Control Panel was laid out half-assed, and for some reason, Windows Media Player and Windows Mail didn't work.

That "allow screen" is User Account Control, and can be easily turned off. The control panel has an option to display it in the same way as XP. You reasons for disliking Vista are bullstuff. I agree with CapTMeaT. You're an idiot, fierscream.

It has that stupid allow screen

You can disable it.

the Control Panel was laid out half-assed

You can change that.

Windows Media Player and Windows Mail didn't work.

Yes they do. You also said, "I don't mean nothing's working with Vista"

You know what I loving mean n0cturni. And no, you can't make the control panel layout like XP'ws. And third, you might not know what permission screen I'm talking about. I'm talking about the one that has the yellow screen.

Control Panel -> Classic View
Look before you type.

That is an option you can choose for the XP too. But I DO NOT LIKE IT. IT IS NOT LIKE ONE OF THE XP LAYOUTS.

Vista's default control panel is already almost identical to XP's.

You're just too damn opinionated to notice.

WHAT?

That is like the XP's look you loving handicap, there is not a stuff wrong with Vista, you are just a handicapped piece of stuff.

That's nothing like the DEFAULT XP layout. It's the CLASSIC layout.
