Author Topic: Skin Suffocation By Mousepad  (Read 1699 times)

This is what happens when you have your hand on a mousepad too long. No, this isn't a short-time thing, it's like a scar. The skin's been suffocated to the point where it's hardened and thickened. (that's what she said)

I know my house/hair is a mess, I can't be arsed to do anything.

You stay on the computer WAAAAAY too long.

i never use them, there a bit pointless with the laser pew pew ones

1 Solution gel pad.

You gonna post another thread about how you got a marble stuck in yer nose? Got your a staple stuck in your pinky toe? Stubbed your big toe on your cat?

Is someone saying they don't care?

No! Of course not! Thats why hes asking to see those threads!

No, he's just been posting stupid threads since he came back.

1. I never came back from anywhere
2. You always were so I don't believe you are one to talk.

Couldn't happen to me, I have to take my hand of the mouse to build and type. Unless someone made a numpad + mouse thing.

I honestly can't see how you do that.

You have to leave your hand there for hours to do that probably.

He must move his whole hand to move the mouse. I am just lazy and adjust my wrist and fingers.

My mouse sensitivity is so high I barely need to move at all. :D

You better take off all your clothes then, wouldn't want your skin to suffocate!

It's actually caused by friction. If you want to prevent it, get an ergonomic mousepad or hold your wrist up. It's not exactly a bad thing though, it protects your skin. It's the same thing that happens when you get those hard spots on your hand when riding a bike.

I have never gotten a callus from using any mouse before though, not even the old rectangle shaped ones.

Mine's at full sensitivity xD
That's why this happens.
