Well there were no Books that showed proof there were Dinosaurs. Only fossils, yet we still assume they used to exist. Books and Fossils to me are the same exact things. Like writing on a book, anything could draw on a rock.
He is an example of a lie that is forced upon people so they will do something. Santa was created to keep kids from being bad, and even though it is impossible to have flying reindeer, kids believe it because people tell them it's true.
The Idea of a God never forces you to be good, you idiot. It does however push the fact that there is a god, there is a 'Jesus', and that you have to "Have faith in him" to go to heaven.

Remember the Greek gods? It would be silly to think they where real now because science has shown us how we get lighting and rain. That is what will happen to Christianity. It will just take more science, like proving the big bang theory or finding more evidence for evolution.
The Big Bang theory is a load of stuff. It's impossible to prove, and outrageous. the Science industry should just drop it and call it a mistake. It's possible to assume that a "God" or something might realize the consequences of their actions. It's simple really, once you take into account the invention of Automatic Contraptions, it's plausible that a God or a Creator of some sort might have made it so that they had a way to truly test your faith.
