A COMPUTER CRCIA AM HAPPENING!

Ok, so my computer crashed randomly, and it restarted while loading windows XP MC Edition, creating an endless loop, so I installed Windows 7 (being the only choice I had). Now I'm wondering what to do when the RC runs out of time... I don't really want a Linux based OS.

whats wrong with linux?

Either fork up the cash or get ubuntu or something. Then you gots the money, use that.

What happened to the CD your computer came with? did ti come preinstalled with windows? if so you've got the key on your computer somewhere. You just need to borrow a friends disk of that OS I guess.

Hah, I said XP Pro. That's what I'm putting on my new laptop right now.

I've got 2 HP OEM keys for Vista now.

half the programs I use don't work on linux even with Wine. My Mom doesn't know where the OS Disk is, and the computer would never load windows, so nokey4me

I said Vista Ultimate, I use that and I've never been more impressed.

Jesus forget you have bad luck with computers.
Just buy a new one and save money. I mean it.

the problem's not in the computer, it's actually pretty good, it's the OS

I'm leanin a little more towards buying Win7

UPDATE: Ok, so we have the key on the pc if we use it again will it work? And do they sell OS disks without the key? because if they dont and we have to buy a whole new OS, I say Win7
