hal.dll
Two things wrong here:
1) stop downgrading.
2) Open the D:/ drive, Hal!

Hal .dll gone for good im running  win  98 SE, i dont have XP anymore, cause i dont wanna pay 300 dollars for a few games and MS Word lol,, but i had a 98 CD laying around

You downgraded to 98... ?

Anyway, you need the Win 98 display drivers for your graphics card.

Or, you need to get back to XP.

Still, even if you are missing Hal9000.dll, you could have found it on the internet. You could even ask a friend to borrow his XP disk.

i have all xp graphics cards, and i have the drivers for the intel cards, but it says everytime i turn on the computer and login, graphic settings dont support card. i need a 32 bit driver for my cards.

Basicly, Cant find correct drivers ,i need 32 bit

That is what happens when you try to run hardware with completely outdated software. Just go back to XP and stop dealing with something that can not be fixed.

i found it on the internet. but my cd drive wont detect a cd if not formatted correctly ... no one has xp cd, all have vista, but still no cd. my sisters laptop doesnt have floppy, alongwith anyone elses . my best friends computer does, but its so crap loaded, and virused, i think you get da point there

Excuses + I pirated XP
So you are saying that you just do not feel like fixing your computer now?

That is why you find a CD for XP. I would never go to a lower operating system unless it was vista > XP.

thats not really my problem, i need xp cards from a dell dimension 3000 to run on windows 98 dell dimension 3000, if you could find a link, you get the cookie, but other then that... im not pirating an operating system, its enough to use limewire, im good with 98, it has the graphics i need, but its just not running the cards

so why did he downgrade to 98? that's the dumbest thing i heard all day lol
