Instead of running the Blockland Dedi as a Process, you can run it as a service with Fire Daemon.

The How To...

Step 1. Getting the Demo

It's workable with the demo and you can get it here: Download!

Step 2. Installing and Setting Up

Now here is the tricky part, Installing the service and running it.

Open the Program..

Then you will get this...

Click the + Icon then you will get this....

1= Any Name you want will automactically copy to the short name

Executable. Vista = C:/Blockland/Blockland.exe
                    XP    = C:/Program Files/Blockland/Blockland.exe

Working Directory. Will automactically copy

Now off to the next tab, Settings.

For settings is one step, changing the Show Window to Hidden

Last Step, Giving dependenencies to it.

This is the step we are going to install the service also

Install the LanManWorkstation for internet interactions

Then Click Install!

Now go to Blockland and look at the servers

Mine was set to Slate Fields 2 with -map slatefields2 in the parameters

There you go, Dedicated with no process!

Have Fun With This.

Just 2 questions...

Is there still a way to type in console commands using this method of hosting a dedicated server (Like typing them in the regular dedicated console?).

and

Also will you still have to forward your ports?

You will have to forward ports and Instead of Hidden Window, Use Normal to go to the dedicated server console in another desktop.

if i used this on other games, will i be able to host multiple dedis?
where just opening the game 2 or 3 times, obviously can only make one regardless.

Yes, I actually use a Garry's Mod one and try to adapt to use for Blockland.
