Author Topic: Mac/ Blockland Compatibility  (Read 2418 times)

Well, soon I am getting a mac and I was wondering, How will this effect Blockland? I mean I have searched for other topics but all seemed V9 or older... I really enjoy Bl but I fear the Mac will be the death of Bl for me.

Also I have noticed, add-ons that are made by me will be screwed up, correct? I have seen many Mac users that have made add-ons, tend to be failed on RTB. Is this Mac related?

Thanks ahead of time for a solution, I am just worried and need reassurance.

There is a mac version of Blockland.

Regarding add-ons, there just seems to be some curious correlation between bad add-ons and mac owners.

Thanks. I knew that just, some of the topics I saw said Blockland for Mac didn't work correctly.

And is that "correlation" prominent in 10000 IDs or higher?

Well, there IS one problem with some of Bushido's Add-Ons and Mac Mini's, so I'll warn you of the ones I've known to crash/bug me.
  • Bushido's Jackhammer
  • Bushido's Sixshooter
  • Bushido's Flamethrower.

All of them have caused me problems. The Jackhammer made me crash after opening a server for about 30 minutes. The sixshooter completely turned off player-to-player damage in minigames. The Flamethrower crashed me outright when I tried to start a server.

Just a friendly warning! =D

honestly i have no idea what the forget you're talking about, pliny

it might just be the mac mini or something

we have a mac mini and it works fine with those three mods. :/

If I get a Mac i will get a iMac. But god i hope Bushido's Sixshooter doesn't break...

You don't have to get add-ons, you could maybe play Blockland.

Tom

Duplicator crashes when you try to duplicate many bricks.

Well of course.

Do you have console reports, logs, or anything else to support this? I don't see how any of those could cause those problems.

It could cause a crash, but all the coding would work the same (no mini-game mess-up).

Using italics to emphasize a part of your post is good. All the time is just annoying.

I trying to distinguish the question bearer between the answering people. But anyways, sure. :D
