This clan needs to be sorted out more, you can't just have the main post be "[Clan Name] stands for [such-and-such], so join now because we're cool!" it has to be organized, have a logo, memberslist, admins list, current events etc.

Try finding a clan to join before you go off and make your own. Not only do you get the experience of a clan, but you'll learn how your own clan should be set up and run.
