STEP BY STEP DIRECTIONS!
BTW: TURN ON FILE EXTENSIONS IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY!

If you don't know how, die. It will do it itself... lolz jk, Hint Windows Explorer Window>Tools>Folder options> View Tab>Uncheck Hide extensions for known file types.

1. Extract the files into [INSTALLDIR]
2. in your INSTALLDIR, create a new text file and call it Blockland with Editor.bat
3. Right click Blockland with Editor.bat and click edit
4. In the window, type in "blockland.exe -mod editor"

OR

1. Right click the shortcut that Blockland Installation makes to start BL
2. Under "Target:" At the very end, add -mod editor

If it doesn't work, you fail. You don't deserve to be able to access the BL Mission Editor.

I installed the mission editor from the source topic in the right location, unhid file estensions for known filetypes, and tried the shortcut editing method t o no avail. I also tried the .bat method, but when I execute it, it says Blockland has encountered an error and needs to close.

Help so I can make maps please?

It's called a very, very pathetic comeback.

heres how you do it. that other topic made it seem so hard, but its quite simple.

1. open the editor.zip.
2. run the editor.command/.bat
3. the game should start automatically. once on a map, do ctrl M.
