Author Topic: Having problems with lag...  (Read 1240 times)

I recently restored my computer and since I restored it Blockland has had some strange lag problems...to start with..the menu cursor is very jerky when I move it...and when I play if I move frontwards or backwards there isn't any lag but when I move my mouse to look around..it gets really jerky! I do not understand why this is happening because before I restored my computer Blockland ran just fine. (And my computer had VERY little memory that was not being used AND my computer had a BAD problem with fragmented files) If anybody knows how to help me...I would be very thankful!

Did it jerk when you're not playing Blockland?

OH..I forgot to mention that I tried another game that probably took more memory than Blockland would (The game is The Elder Scrolls:Morrowind) and it worked practically the same before I restored my computer which was pretty good!

The computer did not jerk when I wasn't running Blockland. :/

Huh.  Must be a rare problem.

Sorry, but I can't help.   :panda:

Oh that's okay...I just hope someone can help me. :/

Tom

It seems like my mouse control randomly gets jerky every once in awhile, but it usually goes away.

The lag  does seem to happen when I move the mouse....maybe I should try a different mouse and see how my computer acts. :/

The problem does not seem to be in the mouse...I used a different mouse and the problem remained...does anybody know how to help me?

I am using a usb port mouse that I think is using usb version 2.0.Should I be using version 2.2? (I believe there is a usb version 2.2)

I suggest minimizing all programs in the background, uninstalling all you mouse drivers. And resetting your mouse sensitivity via the control panel.

Do you know what graphics card you have?

I belive its a Nvidia FX 5200..if thats not the graphics card info..I'll consult my dad.
