It is "Bob-omb" It can go either way between "Bomb-omb" and "bob-omb".  It's spelt differently between many of the games.

May I see I wire frame of the Bob-Omb. I saw it before and I think I saw some way to improve polgons without changing how it looks.

Flatshading:

- Go in the Groups tab, uncheck the box named Auto-Smooth
- Select all faces or groups
- Go in the Vertex drop-down menu, click on Unweld
- Go in the Tools drop-down menu, click on Tile Texture Mapper
- Don't change anything, click Ok
- Go back in the Vertex menu, click Weld Together.

You're done.
