Author Topic: The End of the World  (Read 5156 times)

World isnt ending in 2012. You have no proof besides a large circular rock.
That had no more room for any more dates.

Or wasn't destroyed along with numerous other artifacts when the Spaniard conquistadors invaded.

The moon will be in there too. In fact, at times, the moon is closer to the sun then the earth.

...are you high? The moon is always closer to the Earth than the sun.

I'd say half and half since we have both solar and lunar eclipses which means it rotates in it's own orbit around the earth. You're probably thinking it doesn't rotate on the axis like the earth does.

HAVE YOU PEOPLE NOT TAKEN BASIC ASTRONOMY?!!?! The moon's distance from the Earth varies from 221,463 miles to 251,968 miles. The Earth averages a distance of 93 million miles from the sun.

The world will end when Badspot crawls out of the fires of hell, hands Obama a free 15 pound package consisting of papers with keys ALL over them, stuffs enough gold bricks to build a home for everyone in Africa who is poor, and can actually only eat one Lays chip.

Astronomy was one thing I excelled in thank you. Here's your proof.

Note how it is on both sides of the earth compared to the sun? Maybe you need to retake astronomy while you're still in school.

Lol... We might be living in another part of the Galaxy by the time the Earth gets ingulfed by the sun  :cookieMonster:

The end for Earth is probably when it Blows up or when the Sun blows up. Not Bible or Mayan Calender Superstition. I'm sick of this brainwashing members of our forum.
the sun won't blow up, it's not big enough. not all stars go super-nova. the sun will just die into a white dwarf, then a black dwarf as it loses fuel.

Yes, but before it does, it will go through a small phase of expansion as it tries to release excess energy it can no longer sustain before collapsing back in on itself. That's where the Earth will be engulfed and most likely consumed before it gets to a dwarf status.

yay death
