Mockoolz left hes account on in the schoold's computer and somone named Tyler Garret went on and did all that crap. Sonic doesn't have an excuse.

oh my god dude, i was gonna chose that avi

Take it, I don't give a stuff.

I nominate myself.

Everyone is quitting, because almost everyone on here a douchebag. Are you guys loving blind? I mean, you flame people if they don't post to your standards. Now, that's classic douchebagery.

Excellent mod material right here guys.

Also if anyone asking to be modded actually gets modded I swear I'll be long gone, you guys could stick around if you want as the forums slowly degrade into a fascist state.

Excellent mod material right here guys.

Did you mean that or were you being sarcastic? If you did mean it, thank you.

This place is starting continuing to fall apart.

isn't ephi a forum mod? i thought i seen him move a topic or 2.
never banned anyone though
I don't think so, because moderators have a blue name in the online list, like rotondo does.

Did you mean that or were you being sarcastic? If you did mean it, thank you.

Sarcastic.

Sarcastic.

Why? I am obviously telling the truth. You people can be real starfishs sometimes. I once told a joke on here, and people told me to shut up or die, because it wasn't funny, or it was stupid.

I mean, if you are going to have this attitude, people aren't going to hang out here. In fact, here is an example right now, you being sarcastic. I know you may think, "it's the internet, I can say whatever the forget I want." But whether it is the internet or not, the same rules apply. You wouldn't say, "forget you!" or "Go die!" to some guy on the street or at school, would you? No! Because those people have feelings too, as they are human as well. My point being, is that most of you (not gonna name people) can be richards. And although it is the internet, you've got to realise that the person on the other side that you cursed, or threatened, is probably hurt and/or angry. And then when they tell you that, you come at them with, "You're a cigarette!" or, "You're a loving crybaby". Because you know it's hurting them, and you also want to seem like the internet tough guy. Well, let me tell you guys something, you stuffheads aren't tough, cool or amazing. In your eyes and other douchebags eyes, yes. But not in the eyes of the person hurt, not in the eyes of your parents, and not in the eyes of your family. You are just a great, big, douche. So, is it really that hard to figure out why people are leaving the forums?

All this has nothing to do with being a mod though, which brings me to believe you'd make a terrible mod.

Look, it's quite simple, if you want to be a good mod you don't forget with the system. The minute you start doing anything with your powers other then enforcing the rules set in place by the Administrators is the minute you start making a bigger mess. To add a little bit more constraint on things, you might also keep in mind that you should not enforce the rules unless necessary, hence no skewed re-interpretation of what the rules mean is allowed.

A good mod isn't in it to become a forum superstar or all that other irrelevant bullstuff either. It's basically a job, which you have to take seriously, with critical thinking involved. I don't think you'd quite cut it for the job, sad to say.

I don't see what any of that has to do with what Frogg said, but I agree with it. He was talking about how everyone treats everyone like stuff, calling people forgets for telling an unfunny joke or posting in the wrong section. In real life, you don't do that (well, the joke part, considering you can't post in real life). But I see what you mean about the superstar thing. Look at Badspot, he hates when people go all ga-ga over him when they see him.

The Forums Going Under.
You just realized this now?

People have been bitching about spammers and the leaving of old members/arrival of new members since this community was created. It's like the human race. Old people are going to die. On the same note, when children are born, they begin quite simple minded and annoying, but they eventually grow into respectable adults. This excludes those few dipstuffs that stay stupid (These would be your occasional spammers).

This is the way life works, folks. The forum is not any worse than it ever has been. The people bitching about it are doing more harm than the "noobs" they're blaming it on. If you have an issue, report it and move on.

Edit: Even though I posted this after reading the topic title only...  it's still relevant to the forum, if not this thread.

Since both those posts were on the same page I connected the dots and came to the conclusion that, were he a mod, he would do a little bit more then what his position demanded from him, a bit too much more.

Another thing allot of people don't seem to be getting is that, comparing reality to the internet, the internet ends up being nearly worthless. There are many reasons why, stemming from the fact that for the individual  the worst-case scenario virtually (say, everyone online treats you as badly as humanely possible) is allot less bad then real-life's worst case scenario (say, you are tortured and you die slowly and painfully). Now add in the fact that you can simply just say "forget this" to the internet and close it, while you can't really get up and walk away from a table you're strapped to, and it's pretty clear which case has a bit more value when it comes to horribleness.

Value of actions -> value of consequences, which in turn leads to the amount of constraints put into place to hopefully keep the worst possible actions and consequences at bay. Online, it so happens to be quite lax, major trolls are banned to prevent some excessive nastiness. You can easily switch the example around for the best case scenario for an individual, which basically in reality amounts to him becoming the god emperor of everything and burning everyone who looks at him funny, while online it's essentially banning everyone who posts about him funny.

I think Muffinmix's logic is going to obliterate every contradiction to everything.
