Author Topic: Obama YEAR ROUND SCHOOL YEAR DX  (Read 13873 times)

The only downside I can see is that the failures cannot attend summer school. Oh well sucks to be them.

Nitpicking out of a situation?  Alright, I'll do the same:
You know, because kids have summer, they have more time to commit wrongs.
It doesn't take all day to start a forest fire. :)

We'd all be smarter.

Japan has year-round school and look at the kind of stuff they're coming up with.

It should help lift some disinformation and propaganda out of kids' minds these days. It will keep them sharp.

It'd be cool with me. I'd just stay out for about a month in summer time.

im an honor student in the 7th grade who built a smart board from a wiimote and some radioshack parts. everyone likes me, i pass all my classes, im never late for class. and.. well... i dont need more
Right. . .

Right. . .
lookup wiimote whiteboard, id give you pix, but i lost them in a hd format

I would hate this if it happened. I have a problem paying attention in class. It would be worse knowing that I would have to deal with it all year.

well, the number of kids go to public, i could see shootings, Self Deletes, and emos, who wants to work after 18 years of non stop school. im an honor student in the 7th grade who built a smart board from a wiimote and some radioshack parts. everyone likes me, i pass all my classes, im never late for class. and.. well... i dont need more

Well you're right, more school wouldn't help. I was just trying to say I don't think the school system is very good right now and could use some sort of improvment. Quality teachers I guess is what I really want.

But still, could you give some sources?

I'll be home schooled.

I personally couldn't handle this. I go to a private school that gives me a very good challange, I went from getting 100's on exams without studying to getting 80's to 90's on exams after studying about 10-15 hours per subject. The stress from being under that pressure to perform by my parents and my school would simply be too much.

What our school system needs is something that can help people learn the way they learn. I, being one who can sit and listen to a guy yapping all day can deal but I know quite a few people who learn better by doing hands on work or by singing a song. It is how we are learning, not what we are learning with.
