Author Topic: Obama YEAR ROUND SCHOOL YEAR DX  (Read 13761 times)

If you havent heard already, President Obama is trying to make the school years round.  Google it if you dont belive me. What this means is. Dont say he doesnt have the power to do this. he didnt have the power to do alot of stupid things.

School on the 4th of july
School on your summer birthday.
School every day until your 18.
Homework, everyday until your 18.
No time to shop for supplies.
No all nighters.
Teachers almost everyday until your 18.
No Summer Vacation

Not saying this will happen, but it is in plans to do it.

I think this is the worst idea ever thought to process into someones brain. wanna talk about torchor this  would be like rotting in educational jail!!!!

I sense another Columbine...

We'd all be smarter.

Japan has year-round school and look at the kind of stuff they're coming up with.

It's a national holiday, dumbass.
Who ever said I had a summer birthday?
We'll still have weekends.
You don't get homework every day.
Weekends
Weekends

Your points are ridiculously stupid, regardless of the fact that I wouldn't want school year round.

And that's the sterotype that other countries hate about us, I wouldn't mind changing that. School all year wouldn't be bad if they could figure out how to make it meaningful. I think my high school was great and gave a great education but the normal public school would be horrible all year.

Anyways, prove you don't need more school by posting some sources.

well, the number of kids go to public, i could see shootings, Self Deletes, and emos, who wants to work after 18 years of non stop school. im an honor student in the 7th grade who built a smart board from a wiimote and some radioshack parts. everyone likes me, i pass all my classes, im never late for class. and.. well... i dont need more

Yes, you did:
School on your summer birthday.

forget that.
That.
I'm going to a College Prep High School at the end of summer.
College Prep High School's are tough as hell, and there's no way I'm going year-round.

I voted "Good idea" for 3 reasons.
It's funny.
I'm not in the US.
I'm out of school.

Nitpicking out of a situation?  Alright, I'll do the same:
You know, because kids have summer, they have more time to commit wrongs.

Yay, another reason to drop out when I'm 17.
