Hello. Ok, I need some help. I want to create video games for a living(I know it sound lol) but, I need tutorials to make some and I also would like you to list programs I need to learn, buy, and use. I would like some tips and also, What to use to make flash games Just so I can get the hang of it. Also, If I make a game with stuff like Premuim accounts, Guess who gets Premuim accounts lower priced? You do. Also, I WILL create an online game where you are a worm and you find specific traits to evolve to a higher species.

I.E. for worm game : Start as a decomposer : Fly, worm, <insert more here>. Then depending on your choice and the traits you get, you can choose a evolution from there, and you go to a new world. (Cattepillar would probably evolve to butterfly and then world would be expanded into sky)

Also, NickTheSushi gets something for telling me to do the Evolve game.

After thinking, NickTheSushi will get 75% off premuim!

you could work for me but i sure as hell am not working for you

i am being completely serious, pm me

I mean after I graduate from colllege I would like to create games. (to sell)
And, Until then, I will practice by making free games and share them here.

It doesnt really matter how much you think of, you need to start by learning how to make hello.c
I do not know a programing language, I messed around with python. I went into python wanting to make complicated programs and got discouraged very quickly.
Im currently working through a book on c and if i pace myself the work doesnt seem to hard and it gives me a feeling of accomplishment when im able to do something i wasnt able to do the day before

Yes, any tips and tutorials yet? Also, Thanks NickTheSushi

You'd need a bit more education than just some tutorials if you wanted to make a career out of it. College usually has plenty of classes available for that to get you an entry level job in computer design with a company. Best start if you really want to make games for a living.

Ok thanks.

Take a bunch of courses in school. Look at computer/programming classes and take as many as you can. Then, later in your school career, look at what college you might like to go to that offers those kind of things.

Any programs for games that I need to know and use?

Well there are many game engines based on many languages. You could choose which ever one you prefer

Try out Construct at scirra.com. More professional then Game Maker but just as easy ;).

college will teach you how to do anything from the basics.

having experience just makes classes easier. it wont let you skip classes or graduate faster.

Q-basic all the way baby  :cookieMonster:
