Author Topic: Port Forwarding: I just need to know AND dedicated servers  (Read 595 times)

I forwarded my ports (on my old computer) in V8 will they work now for V12, I guessing the answer is a BIG yes, but just to be sure.

Also, I want to know how to enter commands in terminal (mac), so I can make dedicated servers.

I dont have mac, but i know there is a zip that you put in run that will make your server dedicated like mine

Where can I obtain this zip, and where do I put it? Add-Ons? Config-Server?

I also want to know the answer to my server question.

I got a new computer so i need to know if that matters.

I don't know about the Mac-version of blockland, but I have a feeling this .zip is located in the Blockland folder.
I think this because in my Blockland folder, there's a dedi.bat which lets you run a dedicated server for Blockland.

In the mac version of blockland, there's a dedicated.command
Run that and thats how you make a dedi,
Now portfowarding i dont know how to

"C:\Program Files\Blockland\Dedicated.bat"
I found it. :D

Type that in run.

You now start a server, with dedi saver checked in your addons and...

YOU HAVE A DEDI SERVER!

How to run a dedicated server on a mac:

1. Download RTB from http://returntoblockland.com/?page_id=5 and put the .zip in your Blockland Add-Ons folder.
2. Open Blockland and follow the instructions which it tells you.
3. Close Blockland, and open dedicated.command, which is found in your Blockland folder.
4. Enter what it tells you to in the terminal window, which is something like setupRTBDedicated("BL_ID",1);
5. You now have a dedicated server!
