The main thing he doesn't realize is that if we didn't get involved in WWII, he'd be speaking German by now. He owes his freedom to the US for our support in the war. Actually, I was joking. Their "cowardice" in WWII was only an attempt to preserve as much life as possible while being able to retain as many people to keep an inside eye to further plans of the third reich. They may not have fought directly, but they sure knew how to spy.
