ill host a television station 4 free n den i play blockwarz movies n research

If you guys want, I'll buy Blockwars-movie.com and host it for free. I'll even design the pages if you want.

Eh no. No. Don't do that. I don't want to consider any copyright infringements let alone the disclaimer we already have on packer's site. Plus I mean, it'd be like you spending money on us, and that's too close to doing something illegal (even if it's not). I think it's best we just keep it where it is.

Assuming I ever get those files from Warren he said he's send me, or well, write up. I want to give Packer the new files plox.

As long as you add a disclaimer saying you don't own blockland then it would be no different then being sued by a camera company for using their camera to film.

First of all, that's not the same thing at all. You pay to use their camera's. You buy their film. Their logo goes at the end of your movie so they get free advertisement.

We're ripping off a movie, and not changing names. Only because of comical effect, but still, if we even did anything remotely close to a transaction of legal tender using Lucas' property, I would not feel good about it what so ever. Even if it were legal, it feels wrong to steal ideas. I guess as a creator myself, I understand the need for copyrights.

No thank you, but it was nice of you to try and help.

I noticed my website is host of remakes, whether its a movie/game, its nothing BUT remakes. I am an infringement.

I need to brush up my disclaimers.

A lot of people don't. Seth Green doesn't in his Robot chicken ones and I don't see George Lucas getting all upset. Seth green is making millions off of it. Morals are for suckers.

Stick a mr radar in there somewhere and I'll say best movie made in a video game ever. It needs that Mr Radar!

Raspberry... only one person knows I hate raspberry, LONESTAR
*Camera hits him*

I so regret not being a part of this, now. D:
Guess I'm still in the credits on the page. Neato :D

Doesn't matter though, because this is absolutely loving awesome.

is it wrong that the coffee maker at my house has the label "Mr Coffee" on the top of it?

I'm going to say that somewhere behind the scenes Robot Chicken's lawyers and Lucas Arts' Lawyers get together and talk about something.

Again it's not that easy. Sure we could contact Lucas' legal team directly, but something tells me they won't really reply to a letter from two teenage boys making a movie with a video game.

I'm going to stick with the basic rules of copying. I'm not making any money, it's shareware, you (Lucas) lose nothing. In fact, he gains popularity for Star Wars.

Its legal because its a parody.  Look at Weird Al.  Even though he asks before he does a song, he technically doesn't have to.  (Fair Use)

We can't get in trouble unless we're making money off of it.

Weird Al is different. Weird Al writes his own lyrics to other people's songs.

We are literally taking the names LUKE SKYWALKER and DARTH VADER and HAN SOLO and using them in our own production. Maybe Lucas does have a copy right on them, maybe he doesn't. I don't want to take the chance of going to court with 20'th Century Fox's lawyers.

Sure we could change the names like we did everything else, but that just wouldn't be as fun. To me it wouldn't be the kind of parody I was going for. Though I think naming Han: Ham Salad would just make me giggle.
