Author Topic: Damn you Vista, make it easier to download Add-Ons! (Help with vista)  (Read 919 times)

Ive recently got a new laptop and it's pretty cool. It came with Vista. After a while of having it I decided to get Blockland back, but... I cant seem to extract Add-Ons properly. Im only on the Demo version until my brother recovers my key. I cant seem to enable some any Add-Ons I downloaded.

I know this seems dumb and n00bish, but, it's a first for me.

Thanks

because your not spose to extract addons. stop being one of those idiots blaming vista for every one of your little problems, simply because you don't know anything about blockland or computers.

I mean extract the files, then place them in the Add-Ons folder. It worked fine for XP though

you dont extract ANYTHING. leave the zip's as is in the addon folder.
this is the same for any OS

Vista would only give you problems if you installed inside program files which the installer by default doesn't do on vista. Even if you did it should only be a problem with files the game creates, not what you download.

Someone give me a tutorial on this, pl0x?

If I dont extract, do I save the file then?

This is because I havent played Blockland in over half a year. =/

well yeah you need the zip file, just don't need to open it
