Author Topic: How big is slate?  (Read 4725 times)

Very big.

Anyway, I placed 64x cubes on each corner of slate, a red 8x cube at 0, 0. Later I added 3x3 64x baseplate square for an overhead view. I also adjusted the visibility distance so I could see that far!

0,0 to one corner: 10,137 bricks
Corner to corner: 14,336 bricks
0,0 to edge: 7,168 bricks
Area of slate: 205,520,896 bricks²

And Ladios, remember when you covered slate in 64x baseplates? That means you layed 50176 baseplates.

Lol, we need a film "Falling from 20K bricks high"

The answer to one of those things you'd never think to ask.

i thought it was infinite in all directions but then again its impossible to make infinite anywhere

Terrain, procedurally generated things, yeah.

Falling off slate for 5 mins while waiting for someone to join the server is fun.

Update: 0,0 to one corner: 10,137 bricks

Messed up the results, thought it was something else so I didn't use Pythagorean theory.
