Author Topic: Bones's bone  (Read 2856 times)

I was at a friends house. I decided to run and jump over his wide-ass driveway. There is a house about six feet off the far side of the driveway. I made the jump, but I did it olympic style...  I landed awkwardly and lost my footing while my body retained its momentum. I went down and sideways right into a brick wall and fractured my wrist (along with other things)...  the wrist I play guitar with.

This is my first bone "break."

It sucks a bit.

:(

Damn, I never broke my bones. Even when I dropped a brick on my foot trying to eat dogfood. (Long story)

I want to know now... :o

Oh, damn. . . What about the concert? How will you play?

That has been cancelled for a couple of weeks.

I don't get hurt. Ever. It's not because I'm tough; the exact opposite. I'm a total wuss.

Last year my hair was flipped, thus causing everybody to think I was a skateboarder.

My reply:

"No, the biggest injury I got was the whole summer  when I closed my desktop onto my arm."

An elaboration of that: My dad gave me his old PowerMac G3 to mess with. (Now whoda thought an 11 year old could hack?). Anyway, I was closing it back to normal after I opened it to forget with the hard drive, and it caught my arm skin. Well the clamp is broken, and with the extra pressure from my arm made it not open immediatly. It was purple for a week :/

So yeah, I'm a wuss.

You guys should come over and have a pity party with me and my guitar(s).

I honestly thought this was going to be another boner topic when I saw the title.

Anyway, that sucks.

Bone's bone has my condolences.

the wrist I play guitar with.
Is it the strumming hand?

No, it's my left wrist. I could strum with a damn nub, bro.

I've never broken a bone in my life.
How bad does it hurt?

I would if my car would start.

When it happened, I was laughing too much to notice. Then it hurt like hell for an hour. Now it only hurts if I bend it, twist it, or make a fist.

Edit: Or type...
