I was gonna say, I don't bash closet furries, since it's not the special interest itself that rattles my bones it's the fact that they denounce it AND expect complete unconditional acceptance from everyone about it (causing stupid stuff drama).

I was about to post pretty well the same thing.
This is a similar case to running around in servers screaming "I'M A GIRL!!!"
They expect attention when they announce such things, mostly certain kinds of attention. (varies)
They then wonder what goes wrong when people yell at and tease them.
