How to get an avatar(tutorial)

I found a gif i want to put on my avatar and when i want to upload it on my avatar is says something with error has occured and cant do that because the file is too big blah blah

Only if the Mac has a single clicking mouse or trackpad. Macs can have a right click as well.

Otherwise, I am glad someone made this topic. It will eliminate a lot of topics in the help section.

And, just to make it tougher on Fjeld, there are also new Macs with no clickpad, on which you press down with 2 fingers.

Moving avatars:
Step 1.) Find a program that you like drawing with
Step 2.) Find a .gif exporter
Step 3.) Make a few things that you would like as your avatar (note: you do NOT need to draw them; as long as they are a certain file type, they will work)
Step 4.) Use them in the .gif exporter - if you do not know how to work it, learn. (note: needs to be 75x75 or less)
Step 5.) Go into your profile and follow the rest of the directions from the avatar tutorial (choosing the .gif, etc.)
