Someone please teach me mapping

i would like to know how to make maps, and how to get the map editor (i know there is a tutorial, but it doesn't work for me, i have windows XP).

I would also like to know how to post maps/how to get them ready to post.

also, i have a MediFire account, so i can post it there.

11 loving minutes is nothing. I could teach you, but I think it might be too hard.  Mapping would be too hard for you to do.

i got the map editor to work, any one know how to make objects? i have Blender, but have no clue how to use it. or how to color objects?
