These servers don't LOAD! Dx

Ever since V12 came out, I can't ever manage to load a server. Rather, I can load them, but since a common server has a ton of add ons that they dont really use all that much, but just think is cool to have (i.e., Sniper Rifle, Medigun, on a Space Build where they never get used) seem to be taking much longer to load. It also seems like I'm downloading the same things over and over again. I'm only downloading maps, sounds, and add ons, no music. I just never know how long it'll take to get into a server! T_T

Long story short, servers take longer to download than in V11. Is there a way to solve that?

I try to keep my server simple. I have JVS and a some other useful events. The longest I've seen someone have to wait was about a minute.

Under Options, you can enable/disable some of the things you download, so you can minimize download times.

The other thing you can do, (which is generally unadvisable) is to download the same addons the server has.

AS Nocturni said, under options->Network you can turn off downloading sounds, models, textures, explosion effects and spahes epc.
