Port forwarding NEW PROBLEM PLEASE HELP!

I fallowed the instructions on the port forwarding toutorial and it totaly messed up my computer!  I was no longer connected to the internet and I could not connect to blockland severs! I put everything back the way it was but I was weird and it scared me. Also an error baloon came up from the task bar saying I was no longer connected to this IP address, and that there was a conflict with the default IP address. Why is this? PLEASE HELP ME!

Ok you obviously have no idea what you are doing. What you did there was change your computers IP address to the same IP address that another computer or your router. You do not need to change these values when you port forward.

No I looked it up on command propt and wrote it down. I got the right one I just did something else wrong.

yea and also i port forwaded its at 28000 where it should be and my friend says it said server is dead i dont understand

don't just forward 1 port, forward a range of ports 28000-28030 or whatever that was

i know but i read port forwading on the BL website and it told me to port forwar 28000
