Got a new 70-300mm Telephoto/Macro lens.

It's fairly epic.
Since i have to take care of a cat, i decided to take pictures of it since I don't have a pet anymore.

Very nice, I like the third and fifth ones.

For your next lens I would get a 50mm f/1.8 (or whatever the lowest f-stop you can afford is). Something like this:

(which is the only lens I currently shoot with)

Zoom lenses usually reduce the sharpness of photos and sometimes distort them.

Will do.

I'll probably buy it this summer since this cat is my job.

sell the cat photos too

-snip-

YOU CAN ZOOM TO INFINITY.

Nice pictures, I wish I had a camera like that. If I actually wanted to pursue photography, I'd probably save up for one. Looks like it would be fun. :o

that ring is focus not zoom :(
unless you were sarcasm in which case ffffffffff

I have no idea how giant lenses work, so yeah, I really had no idea. :P

Then...

IT FOCUSES TO INFINITY.

that's like the smallest lens you can get (probably)

but whatever.

Double post.
here's the lens with its hood on, and fully zoomed in.

The color is nasty because of flash.
