Author Topic: My mouse keeps double-clicking on single click  (Read 1285 times)

I've done registry changes, changed the sensitivity in the control panel, restarted, unplugged, and nothing works. Can anyone help me out?

Throw it in a 40 foot hole and cover it with boulders!  :cookieMonster:

Melt it?

because we all know those will fix it.

Jizz inside it to make sure it will stick?

Buy a new one for 5 dollars?
Either that, or your forgeted.
Jimmg's plan might work though.

Update/reinstall drivers, if any.  What kind of mouse do you have, anyways?

I had this problem a while back, however the only advice I can give is leave it and hope it fixes itself - worked for me. If it's a crappy mouse, buy a new one.

Mine randomly does this. I'm guessing because it's getting worn out as sometimes when I hold it down it suddenly acts like I let up on it

Logitech... Something. It's a laser mouse. Nothing fancy.

forget you too.

Connect 400 ft of USB cable from your mouse to your computer. The signal degradation should be enough to filter out that second click.
