Author Topic: Removing conflicting addons?  (Read 809 times)

Ok, before anyone comes here thinking I don't know how to find my addon directory and delete stuff, thats not the case. Recently I played singleplayer designing a place, when I loaded my save, 1 brick didn't load. So I looked for it and it was a JVS door. I exited and looked and none of the door addons were active so I turned them all on. Then it crashes. When I click start, it loads, and then the screen freezes and my desktop mouse shows up over the screen, telling me its crashed since the Blockland mouse is still on the start button. I did some looking around since that only happens when I test a bad addon that is later failed. I looked at Traders posts and such, so by his intruction, I deleted an old set of doors for a new set, to work with his new system, then I went to my blockland directory and made sure the old one was gone, it was. So I start again and the same thing, so I go and disable everything else (Aside from defaults) and start again only with the JVS stuff that is supposed to work. Same result, frozen screen. I went back to the JVS posts to make sure I did everything right and I'm pretty sure I did still. So now that I have is the 3 JVS door PACKS. 0,1, and 2. I downloaded them again for good measure. I have the Switch pack he made, the system he made, and a set of windows. I'm pretty sure he made the windows. And aside from 3 weapons, 2 items, and the arches brick pack, JVS stuff is the only thing I have on. And before I had the JVS stuff on, all of those items and more worked just fine, and I havent gotten any more addons between those times. In addition, EVERY time I loaded the game, it was only on the bedroom. So, after that long set of boredom, here is what I need. Is there something wrong I did with the JVS stuff that I should change? And one more time, note, it worked while JVS was off and not when it was on. Or is there something else wonrg that I'm just missing?

Cool story bro

All I can think of, regarding the one door missing, is to go to Server Control (If you have RTB - if not, get it now) and under Preferences increase the allowed number of JVS Content bricks.

Can you give us a console.log?  It may reveal some of the problems you haven't described as to why it's crashing.  From right now, I don't see a reason why it doesn't work :/.
