Regulith's Island RPG

Well, it's been awhile since I've posted a build, hasn't it? Mostly because I get part way through things, and then never finish. This, however, I am planning to finish, and I'm getting some help from some friends on the way.

News
Monday, July 6th, ~3:15 a.m. local time -- Posted topic. Current islands are: "Tutorial", Dagger, and Ember; Ember is not fully complete. I should be sleeping, but am not. Damn.

Monday, July 6th, ~11:45 p.m. local time -- Server was open for a short time today. Ember Isles are nearing completion. Jail is being built for the new "Offenses system", where doing certain things will cause you to earn "Offenses". Depending on how close you are to witnesses, you will be taken to jail after a certain amount of offenses. The more offenses you have, the longer you stay in jail. Be warned, any offenses you get during the development stageo f the RPG will still save, and you'll have them when the RPG is done, so don't rack 'em up now.

Friday, July 10th, ~1:45 p.m. local time -- Yesterday, the jail and library were confirmed finished. I am currently working on a floating island high above the Ember Isles, protected by a Laser Gate. Getting to it requires getting to a nearly undetectable area, so good luck. my server will not be open for the next 2 weeks due to vacation.

Server Status
Thanks to Tom!

My server will not be open from Friday, 7/10 to Sunday, 7/25.
(If it says "Regulith's nothing", that's me checking on names and BL_ID's. It does not mean the server is open.)

What is it?
This Island RPG is something I've been working on for two weeks now. Basically, (like a lot of other games, I know) you wake up on a shore. You're dazed. You're confused. You're...kind of hungry. So, you explore this small island you've woken up on. Thus begins your quest to regain your memory, or something cheesy like that. I don't really have a full plot yet, but shut up. I'm wingin' it.

Main Islands
I have three islands that I have made currently, one still under construction. The current "Regulith-made" islands are:

"Tutorial Island"

Still a WIP name, but it describes the island perfectly. On this island, you will find many signs, telling you what to do, including rules of the game and some basics about how certain mechanics work, such as collecting a certain slippery fruit. It also contains a building with a personal call-switch that can call me when someone has an issue. Currently, this switch is normally being pulled by idiots who are illiterate and the response to me admin-orb-ing over there and inquiring what is wrong is usually "I didn't know what it did" or "I was just testing it". After a long day, I often ban for such stupidity. Don't do it.

Dagger Island
Shaped similarly to it's name, Dagger Island is your first real stop in your adventure. It's basically a small port island, with a few things to get you started...if you can find them. Of course, someone on the server will usually just end up giving you the combination to the val-
I do believe I've said too much. Uh. Pictures. Yes.

Ember Isles
Sneak Peek:

User-made Islands
I have a system going on my server right now. If you build a decent island whose center is 500 studs away from the center of it's neighbor, I will consider keeping it. You may notice gray signs poking out of the water. I color code them in three colors (currently):
Red - Denotes an island that will be deleted in 24 hours or less if not attended to.
Yellow - Denotes an island that is being considered, it may or may not have issues. Issues are posted on each sign.
Green - Denotes an island that has been accepted into the RPG. It doesn't have to be the greatest thing on Earth, but as long as it can be worked into the RPG and it's built decently, I'll accept it.

"TacticGamer Island"
Incomplete island built by TacticGamer, BL_ID 8289

"Spock's Sea Monster"
Small sea monster made by Spock, BL_ID 9144

"BrockCrock123 Island"
Incomplete island made by BrockCrock123, BL_ID 9679

Lunar Island
I nearly complete island that features an old, broken lighthouse. Built by Mattador69 and Darkmaster, BL_ID's 6550 and 6552 respectively.

Honor Island
A (nearly?) complete island honoring the usual admins and regulars on the server. Made by Mattador69, BL_ID 6550

"SlickSilver Island"
An island made by SlickSilver555, BL_ID 1359. Progress unknown.

And that, my good people, is all I have for now. I usually host my server daily. I am taking requests on catchy slogans for this RPG. You will be credited. Also, please answer my request for a player type than can only swim (on the surface as well) for a limited amount of time HERE.

A special thank to SlickSilver for the temporary fix to my "you can swim to the other islands" problem by making a "Drown Mod".

Sorry to anyone whose islands do not get accepted. Thanks to everyone who spent their time building some, accepted or not, we (usually) had a great time.

And with that, I think my hands need a rest from giant posts for awhile. No x/10 ratings until it is finished, please. Thanks for reading. If you didn't read...do so. Please. Especially the part about the tutorial island call switch.

Hey, what about my underwater Bubble Home?

Wow, this is great Regulith.
I can't wait until it's finished!

Well, I could help, but:

Its a rock that has a treasure chest

the game
Great job making me lose the game. D:

Nice build anyway.

Wtf is that black thing in the water on the right side of the photo?

Left?

yes, i believe thats the left....

The thing to the left is a small rocky area with some random seaweed and a treasure chest. I'll probably make it bigger later, yet not many people whom I've seen play on Dagger actually find that.

The bubble houses were destroyed, I saw no need to keep them, there was no way I could fit them into the story line.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone.

I could fit my sea monster into a small little quest, if you like.

I'm considering placing a sign on his tongue that reads "What the hell are you doing in the mouth a sea monster?"

Spock, your sea monster is a trap! D:

You can go in, but you can't get out.
