Author Topic: Problem with .png textures  (Read 2424 times)

I was making a Normal map, it was supposed to be an Ancient Burial Ground, but there was one problem.

Sure, it looks fine from this image's perspective,

Not this one.

Any ideas of how to fix it? (e.g. Turning down sides in constructor)

What exactly do you do when you export?

I was reading a thread on it. Seems to happen at random.

What exactly do you do when you export?
I export it to Legacy DIF, it exports textures... Lighting... Blah blah blah... I import it to a Flatlands map, mess with the terraform, add the .DIF, paint the Flatlands into sand...
What could be going wrong in this process?
And it's only a problem with the Cyan.png texture. It goes totally transparent at some point.

Try using map2dif.
I did. When I do, it doesn't appear in Blockland.

Does it say anything?

No. It just doesn't appear.
Are you trying to open it by clicking it? you drag the .map file into it.

What the hell does this have to do with anything?

He was talking about map2dif

Sometimes, shearing off of entire faces can happen, you should probably use less complex spheres to remedy this problem. If the problem persists, then it may be another reason.
