Author Topic: Graphics Problem  (Read 1960 times)

Well I've been playing this game for about a year now and just 2 months ago my game messed up, I tried to keep fixing and I searched everyday to never find anything to fix my game.
Well here are what it looks like.

Don't say flushtexturecache(); because it doesn't do me any good, it lags and says using blank texture but it doesn't help.

Damn no edit button, I forgot to say I also can't see the tops of bricks either, they appear invisible from the top and I can see the ground through them.

Try updating your video drivers.

I did it and it didn't help.

Your graphics card must not be able to handle that many bricks. If it can on a different server, try using less Trans. Or change your Refresh Rate.

Actually Ive played that game fine with 4 times as many bricks as that with that never happening months ago.

Your graphics chipset is getting old. You may have to use something other than integrated graphics. If you're not already, I have no idea.

woah, looks like somebody hasn't used flushtexturecache();

well i think i have the same problem (with the bricks)

that's how it's look like on my pc ...

I have the exact same problem, just to let you know.

I've studied the forums, and no help surfaced for those in need of help on tis topic.

Your video card is an ATI product, most likely a 9550 / X1050 or of that nature, or you have an HD card.

Either way Blockland is not able to handle such a problem and thus you would need to buy a new card JUST to play this game.

I don't recommend this action seeing as ATI cards are top of the line for handling high, graphic intensive gameplay such as Oblivion or certain Console games on your computer.

You can try flushtexturecache(); by typing it into the console but that WILL NOT help you at all. I'm posting it to keep others from acting tough and helpful with that lame fixall / endall command.

I can play tf2 and gmod with no problems.
Name: Radeon 9500 PRO/9700
Manufacturer: ATI Technologies Inc.
Chip Type: ATI Radeon Graphics Processor Agp

Yeah, I have an ATI too. ATI isn't supported for blockland. Until this is corrected we CANNOT play the game without those weird rainbow drug-trip like images appearing on our screens. Bricks shall be invisible forever.

My advice: Turn off falling damage.

TF2, GMOD, Mabinogi, Learning Blender and Scripting for me till it is corrected then.

just btw, it always works for me, yes it freezes you for a few seconds, but then you can see what you're doing
