Just like the national socialist's produced the first Atom bombs, and their wacky huge Super heavy tanks, and Land Ships. Such as the Panzer VIII Maus and the Landkreuzer P. 1000 "Ratte" and Landkreuzer P 1500. "Monster" Which where designed to be Litterally Land battleships.

We obviously had high-resolution digital cameras in WW2.

The European theatre started June 6th 1944 with the allies invasion of France which broke into Europe. That was 1944, the British couldn't have deployed their "Mech" in 1943 because there was no place in Europe to deploy it to.
